A first for everything
Hi Everyone:--------I can't believe that I am writing a blog for Glade and I but I am.
Well For those of you who don't know Glade has been unemployeed since Jan. and we have still managed to survive amazing. He has been down with his back for the past little while. We have been seeing doctor after doctor tring to get his to feel better. He is on the mend. I work 2 jobs and 1 hobby. I work at the Conoco on St. George Blvd. 32 hrs. a wk and I work TSA (Transportaion Security Adminisration) at the St. George Airport 20 hrs a wk and I work my Avon when I can.
We have truly been blessed this past few months. Glade lost his job at Barney Trucking and when this happened we also lost our Health benefits. Well we were able to enroll will my job with TSA so we do have Health Insurance... We are soooooo thankful for that we need it so much to take care of all of Glade health issues (The accident that he was in August 2007 really did so internal damage) also it is better that what we had before. We had a water line in our attic brake and water was running out on the venting and the light ficture in the laundry room so we got that fixed. The our electric bracker keeped bracking the power in some of our lights. We got Don Camilles husband over here to look at it and we had some electrical wires shorting out. It could have started a fire but once again the Lord has spared us we are so grateful. The first part of March Glade and I were able to go back to the Temple. That started a land slide of events. Glade was ordained a High Priest here in our home. That was a great day for us. That same week Glade came home and found our little boy Gismo paralized from the waist down we took him to the vets and the end result was we had to put Gismo to sleep. He died March 12 in my arms. It was a very hard thing for us to let him go but he fought and fought but it was time to let him go. I would go into detail but I can't it was so hard. I got to go see Spencer preform his powerlifting in Idaho Falls (Glade had to stay home because of his back problems I sent him videos thru my phone.) April 4 thru the 6 it was total amasing I am so proud of Spencer. He broke another record this time a World record. he wieghed in at 148 lbs. he benched 355 lbs. Deadlift 501 lbs. Squated 545 lbs. He took the Gold in his weight. Broke the world record in the bench and got a invitation to the world compitition in Chicago July 31st thru. Augs. 2nd There are only 3 people in each country that are invited to this compitition and Spencer is one of them. WOW.........Go Spenc Go...... We will be doing some fund raisers and taking donation to get him there so watch upcommin events. Rumer has it Eric Dodge is going to be doing us a concert. right here in St. George,UT.....
Well that for now so let see how this all works remember I am just starting at this blogging bit.
